Jennifer and James were married back in January but they celebrated with family and friends at The Morning Glory Inn on the South Side of Pittsburgh in April. Their wedding was a change of pace for me, with no getting ready or a ceremony, so we began the afternoon with a portrait session in the South Side before their party began.

Shortly after, family and guests began arriving for the happy couple. It was so much fun watching Jennifer and James greet everyone, without any traditions or ceremonies to interfere with their greetings. Shane, a close friend of both, made memorable entrance as well as a funny and touching speech. After cocktails and appetizers, Jennifer and her father embraced in a wonderful first dance that had him laughing out loud in the middle of it all. Their evening wound down with some slick dance moves by their guests within the charming Morning Glory Inn, which was the perfect atmosphere for their special night. Congratulations Jennifer and James, we will see you in a few weeks at Jessie and Damon’s wedding!
