Kelly and Adam were married at Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville, Indiana and their reception was held at the Cambridge Golf Club. They are such a great couple, it was evident from the moment they first saw each other that day because neither could not stop smiling at the other for the entire day and night!
Another part that was fantastic was the amount of kids that were at the wedding. Having two little ones of our own, it is hard to not photographs kids being kids at weddings. In fact, early in our wedding career, Elizabeth told me to slow down on the kids images because I had a tendency to overshoot them just a tiny bit. So the reception was a huge, rocking party full of dancing, laughter and tons of love. And I was thrilled to be a part of it. It was also a little bittersweet for us, since this is the last wedding that we had on the books in Evansville, where we lived for ten years before moving to Pittsburgh last year. So here it is, Kelly and Adam’s wedding story!

The bouquet toss was raided by some of the groomsmen, as Michelle’s brother jumped in between herself and the bouquet as she tossed it to the crowd. Unfortunately for him, he missed it but another giuy came up with the prize! As you probably can tell, Michelle and Matt had an incredibly fun wedding, and I got to travel back to Indiana to documnet the wonderful day at Kirby’s Private Dining on December 18th. Meet Jared. Jared married Kailyn on a rather warm May afternoon, which was a bit warmer than he expected. So he knew, even before he walked outside, that he was going to sweat a bunch. He and the groomsman even were equipped with hand held battery controlled fans that turned out to be no match for the heat. So minutes into their ceremony, sweat was dripping on his face but it wasn’t noticeable to most in the crowd. It was noticeable, though, to the pastor who was performing the service. Without missing a beat and with perfect timing, he reached out with a tissue to wipe off Jared’s face to the extreme amusement of his soon to be wife as well as all of their guests!

Lacey and Chris were married on a beautiful autumn afternoon in Bloomington, Indiana, on October 16th. The were the toast of the town as they took a horse and carriage ride through the Indiana University campus and down Kirkwood Avenue, where bar patrons celebrating IU’s football victory that afternoon came out of the bars to cheer them on and offer congratulations. Hannah Trowbridge of Social Butterfly did a fantastic job of putting everything together on the day of the wedding. Congratulations Lacey & Chris, we hope you had a wonderful honeymoon in Cancun!

Groomsmen that are thoughtful and funny are simply the best kind of groomsmen. Take the guys from Chelsea and Jerod’s wedding for example. They had it all planned out but I’m not sure if anyone else know about it. I was with the guys all morning and hadn’t heard anyone mention it. But when Chelsea and Jerod finished their wedding ceremony with a kiss, the guys busted out the noisemakers on cue to celebrate with the happy couple in their own special way!

We met Jessica and Brian at their friends (and ours now!) Lindsay and Mark’s wedding in 2008. We traveled back to Indiana for their wedding last weekend and we had such a blast! Jessica planned a fall wedding theme, all the way down to the pumpkin with
“I do” carved into it! Their wedding planner, Terry Hughes, knocked it out of the park with her fabulous work and the wedding was fantastic. Here is their wedding story!

Congratulations to Geneva and Alex, who were married on October 17th, 2009 at Kirby’s Private Dining in Evansville, Indiana. They had an intimate ceremony and reception that was capped off by a horse and carriage ride back to Le Merigot, the hotel where they spent their first night as a married couple.
