This year has flown by, I cannot believe that it was a year ago that Lauren and Daniel were married! The setting was The Gillespie in Louisville, Kentucky and it was such an unbelievable time! So good, in fact, that we get to have a reunion at her sister’s wedding this June! Congratulations Lauren and Daniel!

Congratulations to Geneva and Alex, who were married on October 17th, 2009 at Kirby’s Private Dining in Evansville, Indiana. They had an intimate ceremony and reception that was capped off by a horse and carriage ride back to Le Merigot, the hotel where they spent their first night as a married couple. Congratulations Geneva & Alex!

Carissa and Rick are celebrating their anniversary today and I need to talk with Carissa because apparently she has some serious pull within the National Football League. How she managed to have them schedule the Pittsburgh Steelers only bye week of the season on their anniversary is a tremendous feat. They get to celebrate and remember back on a night when Rick took over the dance floor while singing “Bust a Move” which is apparently a tradition at any wedding Rick is apart of! Congratulations guys, we’ll see you in December!

Happy Anniversary to Jodi & Andy! We met Jodi and her sister Ashley’s wedding back in 2007 and she was the life of the bridal party! We were thrilled when she called to say she was engaged and wanted us to photograph her wedding to Andy. Unfortunately, we were already booked for their date, so we were honored when they changed their date to October 2nd so that we could photograph their wedding! How great of a compliment is that?

i met Andy for the first time at their engagement portrait session and it was obvious right away that they were a perfect fit. Congratulations Jodi and Andy, we are so thrilled for the both of you!

One Year Ago Today…Josie and Danny were married!

Josie and Danny could not possibly be more fun to be around. Elizabeth and I knew this from the first day we met Danny, when he started his photography internship on our staff at The Evansville Courier & Press back in 2003. We hadn’t met Josie, but we knew she had to be wonderful judging by the way he spoke about her. Six years later, we were honored that they wanted us to photograph their wedding. That means a ton being that Danny is totally connected in the photography world, being a multimedia editor at The Seattle Times after being a Staff Photographer at The Bellingham Herald, and Josie the owner of Josie Liming Photography, is an extremely talented and successful wedding photographer.

Congratulations to you both, we can’t wait to see you again!

One Year Ago Today…Erin & Zach were married!

The highlights from Erin and Zach’s wedding are easy to remember a year later. When we met a few weeks before their wedding, Erin was anxious because she wanted to see Zach before the wedding but she really didn’t want to “see” him! It turned out that Zach would be golfing for a few hours before the wedding and I think she had some concerns about him, well, maybe drinking a little and being out in the sun too long. So they arranged, cleverly, to blindfold themselves so they got to know the other was dressed, shaved and sober! Which, of course, they were. They being Zach! So they would up having a wonderful moment together and still saw each other for the first time as Erin walked down the aisle. Congratulation Erin & Zach, and Happy Anniversary!
